Larry Brown has been lobbying the 76ers to hire Iverson as an assistant general manager, and although Iverson said he wouldn’t be good at evaluating talent, he did provide insight into his “genius” ways.

“I have a sharp mind when it comes to that look, being able to look into somebody’s eyes to tell if they are going to be in the foxhole with you tonight or if they are not,” Iverson said.

The former league MVP made it public in March that a front office position would be of interest to him, but he may have to turn on a TV to catch up with NBA prospects.

“I don’t watch college basketball,” Iverson admitted. “But if I had that position, then obviously I would be.”
