Last season, the away kit was plain white in colour with Nike as the kit manufacturer and Aon the kit sponsors. This season also the kit is manufactured by Nike, though it will be the last year of Aon as their 4-year deal with United expires at the end of 2013-14 season. The club signed a 7-year deal for a staggering $80m with American automotive corporation General Motors.
The club had previously launched the home kit, which is inspired by elements of the club’s successful history and the city’s industrial heritage.
