As per the tech giant, the motive behind the ceremony is to “recognize the best apps and games on Google Play over the past year”, and they also think it’s a wonderful approach to discover something new to try.
The company announced its nominees in the late of April 2018 and now revealed its picks for this year. This year, there are nine categories of apps and games that provided the best user experience on Android. The decision was made based on different criteria’s such as extraordinary designs, technical performance, outperformer and major updates since 2017. This category is for creating a positive and social impact on society across the world.

This category is all about serving the people who have disabilities or special needs.
