Black Adam is out in movie theaters everywhere now, with audiences getting to see the first live-action onscreen appearance of the DC character who, it is said, is as powerful as Superman.

Johnson is joined by former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo and Quintessa Swindell, who all play fellow superheroes.

Aside from the actors we expected to see, there are a number of cameos littered throughout the movie. Some returning from previous DCEU projects, while others make their debut.

Spoilers ahead as we take a look at all the cameos in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s new movie Black Adam.

Viola Davis as Amanda Waller

Starting off with an expected, but still pleasing cameo from Oscar-winner Viola Davis.

After debuting as the tough law enforcement operative Amanda Waller in 2016’s Suicide Squad, she has now played the role three times with appearances in The Suicide Squad and now Black Adam.

She sets the plot of Black Adam into motion when she recruits Hawkman to negotiate or take out Black Adam.

Djimon Hounsou as Shazam

Black Adam marks the second of three appearances as Shazam, or simply The Wizard, in the DC Extended Universe.

He first appeared in Shazam! in 2019, but within Black Adam we’re given more hints about his backstory.

He appears to have been the only surviving wizard who was able to imprison Black Adam when all of the other magical beings had died. It seems he waited 5,000 years to gift the powers of Shazam to Billy Batson in the 2019 movie.

He’ll reprise the role again in the sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods in 2023.

Interestingly, Hounsou has also played another character in the DCEU, voicing King Ricou in 2018’s Aquaman.

Henry Winkler as Al Pratt

Perhaps the most unusual cameo to be seen in Black Adam is that of Henry Winkler, making a small appearance in his nephew’s smartphone.

Winkler plays Al Pratt, the uncle of Centineo’s Al Rothstein, and the original superhero Atom Smasher. It’s explained that Pratt’s nephew inherited the same genes that allows him to increase his size too.

Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt

In a scene in which she’s seemingly stepping in for Davis on a day she might not have been available on set, she greets Black Adam after he’s uttered the unsayable words and turns himself in.

Holland, wife of The Suicide Squad director James Gunn, starred in his movie as well as the spin-off TV series Peacemaker.

Henry Cavill as Superman

Popping up unannounced in the mid-credit scene, Cavill’s appearance seems to imply that he’s not quite finished in the DCEU yet, despite reports saying he’d hung up his cape for good.

Cavill approaches Black Adam in the shadow, with his patented suit shining bright blue against the dark backdrop.

He simply tells Black Adam that they need to talk. Black Adam smirks, then the credits roll.

Black Adam is out in movie theaters now.
