The series begins on Lifetime on Wednesday, January 5 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT, when viewers get to see the first three-hour episode of the new season.
The five couples will be hoping that they have the same spark as former Boston cast members Shawniece Jackson and Jephte Pierre, who had a child after meeting on the show.
Fans of the extreme dating show got to meet the five new couples in December during the Matchmaking Special. They are Alyssa and Chris, Noi and Steve, Jasmina and Michael, Katina and Olajuwon, and Lindsey and Mark.

Who is in the cast of Married at First Sight Season 14?
Alyssa and Chris
Alyssa, 30, is a social media manager who “devotes her time to rescuing animals all over the world.” After a string of bad relationships, including her latest which “ended in heartbreak,” she is ready to find the one.
Could that one be realtor Chris, 35? A serial monogamist since high school, he has had difficulty in the past once his relationships get past what he calls the “honeymoon phase,” and wants someone he can be with long-term.
Jasmina and Michael
An early childhood educator, 29-year-old Jasmina is ready for one plus one to make two. She told Lifetime that her family has many failed relationships that she has had to deal with, and is hoping to break the pattern on Married at First Sight.
Her latest chance at love is 28-year-old Michael, a personal trainer. His sister was the one who convinced him to try the show after the dating apps did not help him find him the wife he wants to build a family with.
Katina and Olajuwon
A 29-year-old benefit calculation analyst, Katina has spent two years on what she has called a “self-love journey.” She is now ready to love someone else and find the father of her children after having “grown spiritually.”
Her chance to add to the nine MAFS children so far is Olajuwon, 29, a municipal wastewater operator. A self-confessed “playboy,” he now finds that life lonely and is ready to settle down after Jephte Pierre (who went to Olajuwon’s college) recommended the process to him.
Lindsey and Mark
Lindsay is 34 years old and is a healthcare project manager. She is looking for a relationship like that of her grandparents, who have been married for 70 years. Now, she thinks she has learned from previous relationships and is ready to find a life partner.
That partner may be Mark, a 37-year-old regional sales director who goes by the nickname “Mark the Shark.” He formerly applied to the show when it was in Boston in 2018 after years of dating apps that did not help him find “Mrs. Shark.”
Noi and Steve
A talent acquisition coordinator, 33-year-old Noi has a reputation among her friends of “being the one who loves easily and freely” – usually a drawback in love, but an asset on a show like Married at First Sight.
But will she love Steve easily and freely? The oldest MAFS cast member this season, Steve is a 38-year-old former sales engineer. After learning that his grandparents (who have been together 60 years) had an arranged marriage, he is willing to go through the same.
