Before jumping into all of the GO Fest Friendship Challenge tasks and rewards in Pokemon GO, it is worth mentioning that the event will go live on Friday, July 17 at 8am local time. Additionally, players will have until 10pm local time on Wednesday, July 22 to complete all of them, including the Friendship Elite Challenge tasks that unlock after finishing the first three steps, before they go away for good.

Earn a Heart with your Buddy (1 Razz Berry) Send a Gift to a Friend (100 Stardust) Play with your Buddy (1 Pinap Berry)

Rewards: 100 XP, 100 Stardust, 10 Poke Balls

Step 2

Send 5 Gifts to Friends (10 Pinap Berries) Earn 5 Hearts with your Buddy (10 Razz Berries) Earn a Candy walking with your Buddy (1 Rare Candy)

Rewards: 300 XP, Alolan Raichu encounter, 300 Stardust

Step 3

Take a Snapshot of your Buddy (10 Pinap Berries) Send 10 Gifts to Friends (500 Stardust) Earn 10 Hearts with your Buddy (20 Razz Berries)

Rewards: 1 Rare Candy, Petlil encounter, 1 Lucky Egg

Elite Friendship Challenge

Use 30 Berries to help catch Pokemon (5 Nanab Berries) Send 30 Gifts to Friends (5 Razz Berries) Earn 30 Hearts with your Buddy (5 Pinap Berries)

Rewards: 500 XP, 500 Stardust, 5 Razz Berries

To note, Timed Research and the Elite Friendship Challenge are not all that fans can enjoy in these upcoming days, as Pokemon like Slowpoke, Tangela, and Hippopotas will be appearing at an increased rate during the GO Fest Friendship Challenge. Furthermore, a summer celebration will also be going on alongside this GO Fest event, and it will make Summer Style Pikachu available in the wild and in Eggs and debut Shiny versions of Bellsprout and its evolutions.

Finally, Pokemon GO’s July Community Day, which sets its sights on Gastly, will take place this Sunday, July 19. All of this together means that there is certainly no shortage of new activities coming to PoGO in the immediate future, and indeed it is a great time to be a fan of the game.
