Reputable Call of Duty leaker BKTOOR posted clips of four weapons onto their Twitter account, with the popular AK-74u being one of the first shown off by the leaker. The weapon is a staple of the Black Ops series, with its comeback being just as well-received as the return of map voting in Black Ops Cold War. Surprisingly, it is almost as strong as the version in the original Black Ops multiplayer.

The impressive strength of the AK-74u could give players a fighting chance to earn streaks after being placed against equally skilled competitors due to Black Ops Cold War’s skill-based matchmaking. With some of these attachments that were not usable in the alpha, like the 9.1 CAG takedown that adds to the gun’s damage range, the weapon could become even more effective. The clip shared by BKTOOR showcases every attachment for the AK-74u that will be seen in the main game, allowing fans to design their perfect version of the gun ahead of time.

The XM4, the alpha’s most popular assault rifle, was also shown in a clip from the leaker. The weapon may look familiar to old school CoD fans, as it is essentially a slimmer version of the Commando from the original Black Ops. Like the return of the traditional CoD mini-map, fans were quick to welcome back any version of the Commando with open arms. One particularly powerful attachment for the XM4 that was not in the alpha is the 13.5 Gold Squadron, which increases damage by 13% at the cost of a few rounds from the weapon’s magazine.

Other clips can be found on BKTOOR’s Twitter that showcase the surprisingly deadly tactical rifle the Type 63, as well as the LW3 Tundra sniper rifle that was intentionally overpowered in Black Ops Cold War’s alpha. The complete list of Type 821 attachments was also leaked. With all five of these weapons already being extremely powerful, it will be interesting to see how much stronger fans can make them with certain attachment setups. Still, it is worth noting that any of these leaked attachments are subject to change given that the game is still in development.

Perhaps some of these attachments will arrive in the beta for Black Ops Cold War October 8. Until then, players can look through the leaked attachment lists to find their favorite barrels and grips ahead of the game’s official release.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be available November 13 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions will also be available.
